THE SUM OF ALL THINGS

It was the will of the Father in sending his Son that Holy Thursday’s Eucharistic Covenant be consummated in Good Friday’s Crucifixion, be fulfilled on Resurrection Sunday, and the presence of its power in the Church be revealed by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.

There is a prayer that upholds and lays claim to all of that.

The Roman Missal has the priest pray it quietly as his personal prayer of preparation for Eucharistic Holy Communion.

Here it is.
