W.A.S.P. CATHOLIC SAVAGES
On October 21, 2019, while the Synod for the Amazon continued deliberation at the Vatican on a final draft of networking and co-responsibility, a few Catholic men entered the Church of Santa Maria in Traspontina, just outside the Vatican, stole five statues of Pachamama, and threw them into the Tiber River.
Some Catholics in the U.S.A. called the Catholics from the Amazon attending the synod in Rome savages.
The Amazon is still mission territory for the Catholic Church.
While not innocent of cruelty, historically Catholic colonies in the Americas tended to leave aboriginal peoples on their ancestral lands and to build mission churches there.
By contrast, white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant (“W.A.S.P.”) colonies were far more savage, and tended more to push aboriginal peoples out, away, and finally onto reservations.
The historic mission churches in the Americas are in the former Catholic colonies, not the W.A.S.P. ones.
The aboriginal Americans who still live on vast regions of ancestral lands are in former Catholic colonies throughout the Americas, but are largely dispossessed in those areas that Protestants originally colonized.
The great mixed-race cultures, such as Criollo, Mestizo, Hispano, Latino, Creole, Cajun, Mulatto, Filipino, all have names deriving from the languages of Catholic colonials, not W.A.S.P. colonials who tended far more to avoid racial intermarriage. [My own mixed-race culture, Filipino, though not from the Americas, is also the result of Catholic colonialism and racial intermarriage.]
The iconoclasts who savagely stole and dumped the Amazonian symbols in Rome are W.A.S.P. Catholics, true savages who think themselves theologically, spiritually, morally, and racially superior to Pope Francis and Catholics from the Amazon.
